Story: The two main protagonists are Yamada Naoko (Nakama Yukie) and Ueda Jirou (Abe Hiroshi). Yamada is an amateur magician who performs on the street and at small venues. Though she is a beautiful and talented magician with a keen eye for spotting how tricks are done, for some reason no one ever comes to see her performances so she is always broke and fighting with her landlord. Ueda is a professor of physics who writes idiotic books with giant text covering the inner pages. He has an interest in the mysterious and unusual, and for some reason he is a respected man who is often approached by individuals who want him to investigate a certain mysterious occurrence somewhere.

When art student Ben Willis dumps his girlfriend Suzy, he develops insomnia after finding out how quickly she moved on. Plot:
